A second coat of paint...
A few posts ago I gave some advice on how to get a professional paint finish on your walls. There are lots of different types of paint available so here is a list of them and the finish you can expect to help with your projects round the home:
Flat: This is a non reflective paint which hides surface imperfections well but does make it difficult to remove stains.
Eggshell: More reflective than a flat paint and again hides imperfections. Stains can be scrubbed off walls.
Satin: This paint has minimal gloss but is more effective than eggshell. It provides a durable finish that is easier to clean than flat or eggshell and is good for most areas.
Semigloss: Highly durable with a glossy appearance, it is easy to clean and moisture resistant so is good for wet areas.
Gloss: Very reflective and good for highlighting details such as trim and mouldings. Is ideal for doors and cabinets.
