Kitchen planing - "The Work Triangle"
In one of my previous posts I explained how you can revamp your existing Kitchen on a budget but if you are having a new Kitchen installed it is important to make sure you have the layout fitted in the most convenient way. The basic use of a Kitchen is split into 3 categories:
Storage - the fridge and food cupboards.
Preparation - the sink and main worktop area
Cooking the oven and hob
The path that you take between these three is points is called The Work Triangle. In a kitchen you will probably move between these points several times when preparing a meal so when having your kitchen installed it is best if they are close together.
