Crystals for the home

The use of crystals as a form of natural healing has been practised for centuries but they can also be beneficial for the home and recently are gaining in popularity within the interior design scene as decorative pieces. Each variety of crystal has a unique internal structure which resonates at a certain frequency. It is this resonance that is said to give crystals their healing properties. If you are interested in which crystals can benefit your home read on .................

Living room - Amethyst. Said to help relieve stress, Amethyst is ideal for creating a relaxing feel to a room. It helps to clear negativity, emitting positive energy into the home. A perfect crystal for a room where many people are gathered together.

Office - Shungite. This is a very useful crystal for your home office as unlike any other crystal it can absorb and neutralise electromagnetic radiation (EMF) put out by electronic devices.

Kitchen - Carnelian. This crystal is useful for the kitchen as it helps to boost creativity, confidence, increase stamina and stimulates motivation helping to lessen the physical toll that cooking takes on the body.

Bedroom - Rose Quartz. Evoking feelings of peace, passion and unconditional love, rose quartz is a perfect crystal to use in the bedroom. It helps to lower stress, influence empathy and forgiveness and keeps you from going to sleep angry, a must for some couples.

Children's rooms - Celestite. The vibrations emitted by this crystal calms frustrated children and aids sleeps by easing fears. Adding blue lace agate to a bedside table helps to reduce nervousness, stress and anxiety.
