Kitchen revamp on a budget

Having a completely new Kitchen fitted adds value to a property and helps you to put your own stamp on what is commonly known as the heart of the home.  If you are wanting to freshen up your Kitchen but are on a tight budget, here are a few tips to give it a new look:

Makeover your wall tiles
Revamp your existing wall tiles by using decorative tile transfers or using tile paint. Make sure that you regrout between the tiles as grubby and stained grout will spoil the look.

Freshen up your units
Paint your existing unit fronts and replace the handles, alternatively source new door and drawer fronts to fit existing framework; both of these options will dramatically change the look of the kitchen and make it look new.

New window treatment
Give your window a new look by changing your blind. If you are over looked by the street or neighbours use window film on the glass, there are so many patterns available.

New Splashback
A splashback can be an interesting feature to the room, try purchasing one in a bright colour or pattern.

Create a feature wall
Colour one wall in an eye catching colour and then add accessories that match or compliment the colour to tie the scheme together.

New Worktop
A new worktop can really change the look of your kitchen but bear in mind it can be expensive.

Hope these tips help you with your kitchen makeovers
