Desk with Drawers
This is the classic form of desk and suits the majority of people's needs as it has surface space and plenty of room to store files, paper and any other small items you require. There are so many designs and sizes of this style of desk that it will suit everybody's office décor.

Trestle
Sitting on two trestle legs, this has a larger than average desk surface mainly used by people who need plenty of table top space.

Workstation
These are made with the intention of a computer and accessories to be housed inside it or on it. Some have doors which means your equipment can be hidden away, ideal if your desk space is actually a corner of your bedroom or living room.

Bureau
Traditionally made from wood, a bureau has a pull-down front section that makes a desk surface when opened. They are uncomfortable to work at for long periods of time but if a desk is required for only light work it is a good choice.

If you only use the office for light work so are not spending hours sitting at your desk , a basic office chair is ideal. If other members of the household use it as well, make sure you purchase one with adjustable height and back. They are available in lots of different colours.

Executive office chair
These chairs are made to provide maximum comfort and are ideal if you work full time from home. They have a high curved back to give the neck and back support.

Tub style office chair
Available in lots of colours and decorative patterns, a tub style chair offers more comfort than a basic office chair and also adds fun to a home office scheme.
